You may know that the Shelter has an average of 70 animals on site every day. Some arrive because of changes in family circumstances, while others come to us as strays. Whatever the reason, when they arrive our team is here for them, providing medical care, nourishing food, and a warm, safe bed.
£3 a month
helps us prepare our maternity unit pens. Keeping them clean and warm, with soft cosy blankets for a new mother and her kittens.
£5 a month
helps us give medical checks to vulnerable pets as they arrive.
£10 a month
contributes to the ongoing care of pets during their stay with us, helping us to provide everything they need.

Brie, and Ritz were brought to the Shelter after being found in a bin bag at the side of the road. When Brie arrived, she had three young kittens, Colby, Edam and Feta. Ritz was heavily pregnant and gave birth to Ryvita, Butterpuff and Jacobs at the Shelter a week after her arrival.

Dior needed life changing surgery
When three-year-old Dior was signed over to the Shelter, our vet examined her and found that she was suffering with a condition called Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome or BOAS.
Gorgeous Dior couldn’t breathe easily because of the condition and required surgery costing over £3,000!
